Phone use in France
This article explains a lot about the option of buying a cheap phone with a SIM card to use in Europe. There are lots of other options as well, such as replacing your SIM card in your own phone, simply putting your phone in airplane mode most of the time and depending on free WiFi, or paying the daily fee to continue as you normally do while in Europe through ATT or Verizon. I paid 10.00/ day while in Europe the last time, and it seemed like a good deal, but for 10 days or 2 weeks, as most of us will be traveling for, that adds up fast.
